What is Reiter’s syndrome?
Reiter’s syndrome, or reactive arthritis, is caused by a urinary tract infection or some other part of the body that triggers a process of joint inflammation, with functional impotence and loss of mobility. At the same time, this disease carries signs of urethritis, inflammation due to infection of the urethra, uveitis or conjunctivitis.
Symptoms of Reiter’s Syndrome
The most common symptoms of Reiter’s syndrome are related to urination (burning, frequency, control of urine), low fever, eye discharge or redness, joint pain or stiffness, or skin ulcers.
Diagnosis of Reiter’s syndrome
The clinical history and the tests that we will carry out from our analysis department will allow us to determine the origin of the disease. Treatment of Reiter’s syndrome
